It takes a lot of hard work behind the scenes to plan, build and run a Festival!

Would you like to join us for the weekend to enjoy the music and atmosphere whilst helping a friendly bunch of people to make a wonderful event run smoothly?

As a not-for-profit organisation, Wokingham Festival wouldn’t be possible without the help of our wonderful volunteers, and we’re always looking for enthusiastic people to join the fun and be part of our incredible team. In return you gain free access and other perks!

The majority of our volunteers support us during the Festival, and a small subset also help out beforehand and afterwards. We’ve got jobs for all abilities and ages, whether you fancy helping in the car park, on the ticket desk, merch desk, in the bar, litter picking, or a whole host of other tasks.

We’re a friendly, helpful bunch, and will never ask you to do anything beyond your capabilities.

We ask for a minimum of 5 hours of your time in a day over the weekend itself, and you’ll be free to make the most of the Festival for the rest of the time. On Festival days, volunteer crew will receive Meal and Drink vouchers for use when you’re not on duty. For those of you who also help out with setup and breakdown, we’ll provide food and refreshments on the day. For more details, please see our Volunteer FAQs sheet.
