How do I get to the Festival?
Space is somewhat limited at the site, and the onsite parking can fill up, so If you can, we would love you to leave your car at home, and walk, cycle, use public transport, or ride share.

How do I get from the train station to the festival site?

Bus
Limited service to within two miles of the Festival. Please check local providers for details.

Walking and Cycling
If you are walking, you may need to walk around the fenced perimeter of the festival site to get to the entrance gate, depending on where you enter Cantley Park (see the site plan - the Entrance is between the bar and the Marquee stage). Cantley Event Field is about a 1 mile / 20 minute walk from Wokingham town centre.
I’d like to cycle. Is there somewhere safe to leave my bike?
We have an area inside the perimeter fencing, near the gate, which is not generally accessible to the public. You are welcome to leave your bike there. Please note that it is not a secure area, and we cannot be responsible for bikes left there, so you are advised to lock it too.

Driving
While we can accommodate a reasonable number of cars, we have a finite amount of space, and we do run out of parking space on occasions. To enable easy access for those who need it, we encourage you to leave your car at home if you are able to.
Please note that Sat Navs sometimes get confused when directing you to a field so it is best to use Wokingham Theatre’s postcode which is RG40 5TU - but turn right into the festival field as soon as you turn off Twyford Road (it’ll be well signposted when you get there), rather than continuing on to the theatre itself. If you use What Three Words the precise location of the entrance gate is richer.puts.tuned
If using a Sat Nav, please check you are being taken to the entrance on Twyford Road - it’s the only way for Ticket Holders to gain access to the Festival. You can click on the map to access Google maps for directions.
Rest assured that you’ll see signs and there will be friendly volunteers on hand at the entrance.
Parking spaces close to the entrance gate are available for the disabled. Please display your blue badge when you reach the entrance, and ask one of our friendly volunteers when you arrive.
Parking is free.
Car Share
Save money and reduce your carbon footprint! Try liftshare or freewheelers. Please note that Wokingham Festival is not affiliated with these schemes, and cannot be held responsible for anything in connection with your use of them.
Where can I park at the festival?
Our parking area is shown on the plan. If we run out of parking space, there are plenty of car parks available in Wokingham Town Centre, about a 20 minute walk from the Festival site.
If you park in the residential roads near the Festival site (and we would really rather you did not), please be respectful of our neighbours and leave them plenty of room to get in and out of their driveways.
No vehicles can be left at the site overnight.
