Pink Fish are David, Jon, Phil, Robin and Simon - a five-piece band from Berkshire who love playing live almost as much as they love a well stocked buffet at a wedding.
Their origins stretch back to 1994, when they were known as Rob Cooke & The Chefs, serving up generous portions of 50s and 60s rock ’n’ roll. When Rob hung up his apron in 2010, the remaining members decided it was time to expand their menu, and thus, Pink Fish was born.
Since then, they have played festivals in France, taken to iconic stages like the Hammersmith Palais and the 100 Club, and performed at more weddings and parties than they care to remember.
Pink Fish specialise in that sweet spot where rock meets pop, pop meets rock, and someone’s uncle meets the dance floor head-on. Their setlist is a glorious whirlwind of crowd pleasers, from the Kaiser Chiefs to The Kinks, Pulp to The Proclaimers, Queen to the Kings of Leon. And yes, they still love to slip in a couple of rock ’n’ roll numbers, for old time’s sake.
