Prog Rock

James Durand (bass/vocals), Steve Hales (drums) and Richie Cahill (guitar) began Kepler Ten in 2014 having worked together on different projects for five years. With James and Steve coming from a progressive rock background and Richie providing a harder, bluesier rock guitar the band influences are diverse: Muse, Rush, Yes, Dream Theater, Queensryche, Van Halen and Queen.

They signed to Chris Hillman and John Mitchell’s White Star Records in 2016 and have released 3 albums to date: Delta-v in 2016, A New Kind of Sideways in 2020 and Random Number Generator: Episode 1 in 2025. They have been nominated in the UK Prog Magazine Awards and have won accolades in countries as far afield as Australia, Europe and the US.

James, Steve and Richie are busy recording their next full length album as well as part two of the Random Number Generator story and are looking forward to their return to Wokingham Festival along with plenty more shows into 2027.
