Nathan Elcox
Nathan Elcox is an up and coming singer-songwriter who is currently working hard on producing an album of his own original music. With his family home in Wokingham he is currently a
student at Durham University and is heavily involved with the Durham and Newcastle music scene, underlined by his recent successful participation in Live and Unsigned; the UK's biggest
competition for unsigned original artists. 2011 has been a big year for Nathan so far and he feels very privileged to be playing at the Wokingham Festival as he goes from strength to
strength.

Jim Kharner and the Soundbox
JKATSB are something of a super group with members who were all in different bands when they decided to put this one together to play occasional gigs simply for the fun of it. They had
such a good time at the 2010 Wokingham Festival that they are delighted to be welcomed back in 2011. The line remains unchanged with a few faces that you will be seeing again in their
other bands over the course of the festival.

PFJ
The PFJ play "late 70's, 80's and 90's retro rock from Aha to ZZ Top - stuff like "I Will Survive" to "Ace Of Spades", with a bit of "Teen Spirit" and "Tiger Feet" thrown in. They are a 6 piece outfit, featuring vocals, 2 guitars, bass, drums and a stage dancer. An act not to be missed.

Waltham Madrigals
Madrigals are secular unaccompanied part-songs on a poetic theme, derived from an earlier Italian style, and popular in England in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. The late
Elizabethan period saw a huge outpouring of English composing talent, including many famous and not-so famous names. Since 2007 Waltham Madrigals have been dedicated to bringing this
enjoyable but little-known material to jaded modern ears.
Fairy Picks
Fairy-Picks sometimes perform as a quiet acoustic duo in restaurants, sometimes as a lively pub duo using a drum machine, and sometimes as a full band (with base and drums) at larger
pubs and functions. The line up consists of a combination of Rach (vocals and guitar), Leanne (vocals and guitar), Mike (guitar and vocals), Jim (base), and Mark (drums). A great set of
local musicians who all love performing live - and do a great job of entertaining wherever they play...

It would not be Festival Saturday afternoon without Savour The Flavour. They have made the afternoon slot their own with their blend of pop, folk and acoustic. Prepare your dancing

The Wonderyears
We are very lucky to have with us this year this extremely talented group of singers and musicians. Dave Thomas conducts the UK's oldest seniors rock chorus and band. With an average
age of 70 and the oldest at 86 their inspirational performances of hard rock, punk and contemporary pop soon shatter the stereotype image of grandparents. Last year they rocked Guilfest,
this year it is Wokingham Festival's turn for The Wonderyears experience./p>

Adam Smith
Adam Smith has been writing and performing music since the age of 9. Growing up in West Edinburgh, Adam's view of the
world was shaped by looking a bit different from the other kids: "I've always been very thin. Standing out, even now, has created some real challenges for me, just like for so many other
people. I say things in music that I could never say directly." As a child, Adam's influences were Chicago, Dr. Hook, Nilsson, Randy Edelman and Neil Diamond. He is also influenced by
American artists Dave Matthews Band and Counting Crows. Adam's latest album is called "Skin, bones, bruises" and can be purchased through iTunes, cdbaby, or through his website.

9LiVES
Following their success playing to a full house at Wembley Arena in May this year it is an honour to have on our stage
Keely Catt and her fantastic band 9LiVES. Keely shares the lead vocals with her sister Stacey and the bands driving rhythm is provided by Alex Glover on Cajon percussion and this is
overlaid with beautiful melodies from Rob Colborne on guitar and Graham Stockbridge on keyboard.
Alexandra Legouix and the Sunflowers
Alexandra Legouix and the Sunflowers have created a sophisticated but accessible fusion of Latin, Jazz and Pop influences. They make music that people can really relate to on many different levels...think about it...chill to it...dance to it...make love to it... Funky, modern, relevant lyrics and tunes set to a backing skilfully provided by vastly experienced musicians.
Mega Rush Big Band
Brixi and Graeme met in 2007 after the latter spotted the former singing at the Wokingham May Fair and was so impressed he had to work with her at some stage. It was not until 2010
that the pair finally got together in a permanent band, normally performing as an acoustic duo but specially for the Wokingham Festival Mega-Rush is augmented to a four piece by calling in
the services of two good friends Conland on Bass and Dan Daly on Drums. Prepare to be blown away by the Mega Rush Big Band.
